C-170B - Requests for the Developments
« on: July 10, 2015, 10:36:35 PM »
Good-day,

With today's announcement of the 170B, I'm please to kick off the forums with this question;

Prospective users.  What would you most like to see in this package? A feature? A specific modification? Post your thoughts and ideas here.  We'll pay attention!

I am one of your early supporters

What you outlined @ SOH is allready quite fine

Some thoughts

A.) a 2 D panel + gauges

Many of us have several old ported planes ,which from time to time get privately updated ( like the Alpha C-170)

So it would be nice if you could add a 2D panel and a gauges.CAB(cab not dll)

B.) Radio section

One version with a flat ( no 3D knobs) Radios section( and corresponding VC entry) to customize that section by the user ( with no tools)

To slide in a EX500 or a JPI

C.) a paint kit including interior

D.)Startup

If you want to do deep systems modeling-then a ready to taxi setting for the flyers

E.)A loading tool like you use in TACPAC ( or Classic Hangar TA-152)

F.) a chance to let the Yoke disapear

Thanks

Roland

PS:own many paware including Superbug+Tacpack-so above just my thoughts

Roland,

Firstly, thank-you for your support!  This input is very valuable to us!

Let's comment on these ideas, and maybe we can discuss further?

A.) a 2 D panel + gauges
B.) Radio section

In regards to a whole panel.  Probably not.  However, regarding .cab with usable gauges, that is certainly in the works.  Radios; we're working toward functional original equipment, as well as some common options found in real-world 170's. Some 2D function to these will be important, as many times it's just much easier, than trying to always use the VC.   Good points!

C.) a paint kit including interior

You got it!  I consider this a must, and don't know why other developers never supply them?

D.)Startup

The systems will be fully incorporated. However, for those who wish to just go flying, there will be the option to 'click' and be ready to go, so to speak.  This won't be a game mode, but rather an efficient 'ready to fly', with the realism still fully present.

E.)A loading tool like you use in TACPAC ( or Classic Hangar TA-152)

Certainly.  This will also be in conjunction with the many options going into this bird.

F.) a chance to let the Yoke disappear

You got it!  Thanks for reminding me!

Thanks again Roland!

thanks Jospeh

Above was based on the fact that I own many payware-and that is essence of my humble opinion what's missing

Flat Radio spot

What I mean is to add also an interior model where the Transponder/ADF(I guess) spot is flat with no 3D knobs to enter whatever user likes

recently in payware all is triggered by RXP GNS( although I find far better ones) and F1 GTX

or here

But its just a wish-not a must

good luck and strong progress

Roland
