C-170B / Actual updates in the works.

Good-day!

Things are progressing very nicely on the 170 development. There are updates in the works, which should reveal some of what we're doing with this project. Look toward the site within the weekend.

Dear Sir,

We are currently working full-time on the 170B project, with a timeline of Spring '17 completion. Subject to weather during our flight testing and data collection.

Best regards,

Good-day,

I posted this on another forum as well. Let's keep in mind that many aspects of this simulated 170B development tie into real-world aircraft, and products. So we're only leaking very few development/in-game screenshots, until all of the paperwork with those individuals/companies is finalized.  Still dotting the I's so to speak.

There will be frequent updates on the homepage as these items progress, along with a more detailed timeline.

Thanks!

Good-evening Jeff,

Thank-you for your interest, and support of this development. We're very excited about it.  The work progresses at a full-time pace.  I hate to spell-out release dates at this point, however, it is #1 priority.  All resources are being put into the 170B as I write this.

Keep the main page bookmarked for updates.

Regards,
- Joseph

Roland,

Firstly, thank-you for your support!  This input is very valuable to us!

Let's comment on these ideas, and maybe we can discuss further?

A.) a 2 D panel + gauges
B.) Radio section

In regards to a whole panel.  Probably not.  However, regarding .cab with usable gauges, that is certainly in the works.  Radios; we're working toward functional original equipment, as well as some common options found in real-world 170's. Some 2D function to these will be important, as many times it's just much easier, than trying to always use the VC.   Good points!

C.) a paint kit including interior

You got it!  I consider this a must, and don't know why other developers never supply them?

D.)Startup

The systems will be fully incorporated. However, for those who wish to just go flying, there will be the option to 'click' and be ready to go, so to speak.  This won't be a game mode, but rather an efficient 'ready to fly', with the realism still fully present.

E.)A loading tool like you use in TACPAC ( or Classic Hangar TA-152)

Certainly.  This will also be in conjunction with the many options going into this bird.

F.) a chance to let the Yoke disappear

You got it!  Thanks for reminding me!

Thanks again Roland!
